Should Arsenal Have Let Lukas Podolski Go?
Arsenal said goodbye yesterday to one of the great characters of the squad.
Poldi, as Lukas Podolski is affectionately known, is one of the great celebrators. As was demonstrated in last years FA Cup final win and Germany’s World Cup victory, despite the fact he had little contribution to either result.
He did however score some spectacular goals and make a huge contribution to the squad, in his short stay at Arsenal.
Personally, I think Galatasaray are getting an incredible bargain, when you look at the price that strikers go for these days, picking him up for only £1.8m. (Au$3.7m US$2.79m, Eur2.5m)
Podolski’s move made headlines across the Web.
